Credentialed Programs
California Credentialed County Supervisor
California Credentialed County Senior Executive
The Institute offers two credential opportunities to those who complete a designated number of credits:
The California Credentialed County Supervisor (for elected county supervisors)
The California Credentialed County Senior Executive (for senior executives: CAO/CEO, deputy or assistant CAO/CEO, elected and appointed department heads)
Each credential requires completion of 30 credits: 15 credits are from the core courses; 15 are from elective courses
Participants are encouraged to complete their credential program within 24 months, although extensions can be granted.
Credential program participants enter as part of a “Class Group.” The group is encouraged to attend core courses together and build a network of associates to call upon as resources.
Institute credit can also be given for equivalent or related courses taken through other organizations.
