Budget alternatives are blooming as Governor Brown prepares to release his revised budget. A business coalition released a five-point plan on Wednesday; the Assembly Republican Caucus unveiled their plan Thursday. Keep in mind that the Governor will release his May Revision to the budget on Monday, May 16.
United States Senators and county leaders from across the nation came together in Washington, D.C., yesterday over an issue that can truly be viewed as life or death. It’s the federal budget proposal that calls for $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and turning it into a block grant program.
