LAO: Much More Work Needed to Make Realignment Successful and CSAC Agrees

The Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) this morning released a report titled, “2011 Realignment: Addressing Issues to Promote Its Long-Term Success.” In it, they summarize realignment and recommend the Legislature tackle certain issues immediately, before the end of session on September 9, and other “more extensive issues” early next year.
