On February 17, President Barack Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), a $787 billion stimulus package aimed at reinvigorating the nation's economy. The Act is a sweeping bill that will over the next few years pump billions of dollars into the U.S. economy in the form of investment in health care, energy, infrastructure, education and public safety. "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act represents a strategic and significant investment in our country's future," said President Obama.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Web Sites
Funds will be tracked on a new government Web site: www.recovery.gov and be held to strong transparency and accountability measures. As of March 3, federal agencies receiving stimulus funds are required to begin reporting on their distribution and use.
CSAC Economic Stimulus Chart
Funds will be distributed in many different ways, and from many different agencies. In order to help counties better navigate the funding opportunities available, CSAC has prepared an economic stimulus chart, which details more specifically monies available and how to access the funding. Staff will be continually updating the chart as more information becomes available.
