2009 CSAC Legislative Conference

Thank You For Joining Us at the 2009 CSAC Legislative Conference!

More than 250 county officials gathered in Sacramento on May 27 & 28, during the 2009 CSAC Legislative Conference and heard the latest state budget news, met with legislators and attended several workshops and sessions focused on local and state fiscal issues. Speakers included Legislative Anlayst Mac Taylor, Christopher Thornberg with Beacon Economics, Jean Ross with California Budget Project, Max Neiman of the Public Policy Institute of California and Joe Krahn of Waterman & Associates. County supervisors also participated in a press conference and shared their significant concerns about the various proposals under consideration to address the state's chronic budget problems.
