Interested in Teaching?
The Institute is always looking for practitioners who are interested in joining the faculty!
Participants value the experience and expertise from current and retired county supervisors and senior executives. You bring an invaluable wealth to Institute courses.
Practitioners can be involved in several ways:
- Facilitate a course yourself. Many classes are ideal for design and instruction by current and retired practitioners. We will help you prepare the curriculum and enhance your facilitation techniques
- Participate in a course instructed by others. We find if very helpful to include practitioner faculty to co-facilitate courses, particularly core courses. Practitioners bring concrete examples and can offer real options to dilemmas they have observed in the field.
