$99,715 – $127,687 Annually, DOE

Description:

The Public Defender Administrative Services Manager III, is responsible directing and coordinating the central business functions of the department that heads the administrative branch of County government. The department provides interdepartmental coordination, administrative oversight, and leadership to the organization through a wide variety of activities. These include development and oversight of the County’s annual budget for the Office of Public Defender and coordination of fiscal operations.
The position performs/oversees the day-to-day operations of the Public Defender functions across all divisions, supervising staff and performing diverse activities including development of the annual Public Defender budget submittal and oversight of budgetary and accounting activities, contract administration, grant administration and fiscal oversight; personnel, IT, preparation of board transmittals, purchasing, facility management, and policy implementation. Performance of these duties requires familiarity with a broad range of programmatic activities.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate would possess sufficient administrative or business management experience including some qualifying experience in a supervisory capacity to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the knowledge and abilities for this position.
