Salary:

Full-time employment with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off and PERS retirement.  Salary range: $3,509.77—$4,703.43 bi-weekly.

Description:

The County of Butte seeks a qualified individual as Assistant Director, Public Health.  The ideal candidate for this position will possess an in-depth knowledge and experience in administrative, management, personnel, and operational functions of a Public Health Department, plus the ability to resolve internal departmental issues, and to coach, motivate, and develop a workforce that is dedicated to accomplishing the     mission of the department.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have proven ability to assist the Director in the administration and direction of the Public Health Department, including managing the department’s budget and resources, providing policy direction on programs and administrative operations such as accreditation and performance management, and acting for the Director during absences or as assigned.
