The General Services department is seeking two management
professionals to complete their Executive Team. The positions
• Assistant Director of Support Services- Responsible for the divisions of Capital Projects, Facilities Maintenance, Fleet Operations, and Real Estate Services.
• Assistant Director of Finance & Administration - Responsible for managing the administrative services of the department, including Budget Preparation, Accounting, Financial Analysis and Business Service Programs.
The department has 114 full time employees and a total operating budget of $40.7 million with a current capital budget of $8.8 million. General Services delivers an array of support services to the other County Departments and prides itself on excellent customer service. The Department is also taking the lead in managing a $96 million project to construct a North County Jail, including the financial aspects of the project.
