$74,167.81—$99,391.97 annually

Description:

The County of Butte seeks a qualified individual to serve as BUTTE COUNTY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES COMMISSION DIRECTOR.  Under general direction, this person will administer and coordinate programs and activities in support of the policies and procedures adopted by the First 5 Butte County Commission; administer Proposition 10 funds, develop, organize, coordinate and manage all fiscal, operational, and staffing aspects of the program.
This position is responsible for oversight of a multi-million dollar public entity that funds primary prevention programs and services for young children and their families. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with and serving as liaison to a broad range of agencies, developing and enforcing policies and procedures in compliance with state and local statute, developing and managing budgets, preparing Requests for Proposals and other information as required by the Commission, and directing annual report and audit processes. Additional duties include strategic planning, grant management, program evaluation, and staff supervision.
