Salary:

$68,536.62 – $91,845.73 Annually

Description:

Under general direction, plans, organizes, develops, coordinates, manages, and supervises the planning and ongoing activities of the communications/marketing programs within the Public Health Department; assures compliance with state and federal regulations and program performance standards; improves local programs while maintaining fiscal accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or closely related field.

Four (4) years progressively responsible experience in journalism, public relations or communications. Experience in the design, development, and implementation of communications strategies, public relations activities, including graphic design, is preferred.

Valid California Driver’s license may be required.
