$27.50 – $35, hourly, depending on qualifications
Working for Local Government Services and assigned to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in Oakland, CA with specific duties in MTC SAFE, Bay Area Toll Authority, BAHA and RAFC programs. The position will have routine and complex technical responsibilities, such as maintaining information databases, processing contracts and invoices, performing statistical tabulations, and assisting in analysis and preparation of reports and documents in support of transportation activities. Will provide purchasing, contract and administrative support and other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 30 units of college-level coursework related to business or public administration, or related discipline (an associate’s degree is desirable)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing public sector contract and purchasing assistance. (A bachelor’s degree in a field stated above can substitute for 3 years of experience.)
