Description:

The County’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is recruiting for a Deputy Director for its Children and Families integrated division which encompasses Child Welfare Services, Children’s Behavioral Health and Public Health Programs.  We are seeking a Deputy Director with specific knowledge and experience in Children’s Behavioral Health Services. 
DHHS is in search of a creative and experienced individual to provide administrative oversight for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs, standards, goals and objectives for integrated health and human services related programs, services and activities.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to possession of a master’s degree in public administration or a closely related field, and five years of full-time administrative experience in a human services or related position that requires the ability to evaluate, administer and control varied and complex programs involving large expenditures of funds. For some assignments possession of an appropriate license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist and five years of post-licensure experience is desirable.
