This position will be primarily responsible for the County’s Recommended and Final Budgets, quarterly financial reporting, and other projects as assigned. The successful candidate will possess prior government financial experience, preferably in a California county or city, and will possess a strong educational background. In order to succeed in this position, the successful candidate will need to be a hands-on worker who handles projects from start to finish with little ability to delegate within the office.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field and three to four years of experience performing management level fiscal work in a government agency; or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Licenses and Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License.
