Description:

The City and County of San Francisco is the only consolidated city-county government in the state of California. The Mayor is also the County Executive and the County Board of Supervisors also acts as the City Council. The Deputy Controller assists in directing and managing accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and auditing functions of the Controller’s office; monitors managers performing highly responsible and specialized economic, financial and accounting work related to the City’s financial operations; and performs related duties as required by the Controller.

Qualifications:

Requires a BA/BS degree in the appropriate field; and ten years practical experience, including eight years of responsibility for complex administrative and management responsibilities. A master’s degree is preferred.
