Description:

Join Solano County Health and Social Services (H&SS) Department as the Deputy Director of H&SS – Older and Disabled Adults (ODAS) to partner in nurturing creativity in the pursuit of progressive service solutions through a management style of empowerment, accountability and decision making at all levels of the organization.
The Deputy Director of H&SS – ODAS reports to the Director of H&SS and oversees Older and Disabled Adult Services (ODAS), which includes responsibility for Adult Protective Services, In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), IHSS Fraud Investigations, Probate Conservatorship Referrals, (Laterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Conservatorship, and Public Administrator/Public Guardian/Conservator.

Qualifications:

Experience:  
This position requires four years of management experience in a public or non-profit older and disabled adult social services agency which included program planning and evaluation, budget management, personnel management, and policy development
Education/Training:  
Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university is required
