Salary:

$93,204.80 – $112,049.60 Annually

Description:

The Deputy Director of HHSA – Self Sufficiency Services reports directly to the Director of Health & Human Services. This position directs, manages, supervises and coordinates that activities and operations of the Self Sufficiency Services Division within Health & Human Services.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and experience working with State oversight agencies and Federal and State funding streams and will also demonstrate excellent collaborative management skills.
The required experience and education are as follows:
One year experience performing duties comparable to a Merit System Services Program Manager I
OR
Two years of experience performing duties comparable to an Eligibility Supervisor, Employment & Training Worker Supervisor, Social Worker Supervisor I or II or Staff Services Manager I or II
OR
A graduate degree in public administration or business administration or a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a two year counseling program AND one year of supervisory experience or managerial experience in employment, eligibility, or social services programs in a public agency.
