Description:

Amador County is seeking a DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES  to assist the CAO in the areas of recruitment & selection, performance evaluation, classification & compensation, employee discipline & counseling, labor relations incl. collective bargaining, organizational & employee development, personnel policy & benefits, legal compliance & risk management incl. safety, liability & WC; provide expert professional assistance to the BOS & management staff in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

Strong management & good communication skills required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Personnel Admin or closely related field AND five yrs of responsible professional exp in personnel admin in the public sector, including at least two years at a supervisory or management level required.
