Salary:

Annual Salary Range: up to $127,236 depending on qualifications.

Qualifications:

The Regional Board encourages applicants representing a wide range of disciplines to apply. The successful candidate must be able to develop creative, sustainable solutions to complex water quality problems. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of the federal and state laws regulating water quality (particularly knowledge of the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act and Clean Water Act); the demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders from urban to agricultural communities; and, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. At least eight years of broad, responsible, professional experiences in public administration, water quality program management, environmental sciences or management, environmental, civil or sanitary engineering, and/or a related field, at least three years of direct supervisory responsibility, and a Bachelor’s degree is expected. A Master’s degree is desirable.
