The Public Works Department is currently seeking a seasoned, Fleet Manager with excellent supervisory, organizational and interpersonal skills to manage the centralized fleet maintenance operations for the County of Monterey.
Extensive technical knowledge and experience that reflects strong leadership skills and sound judgment in evaluating and monitoring the professional and technical aspects of operating and maintaining a large fleet is required.
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, transportation management or directly related field; AND Five years of experience in a responsible management position administering a large fleet management operation; three years of which include performing a full range of supervisory duties
