Napa County has two immediate vacancies for Human Resources
Analyst I/II positions in the areas of Employment and
Compensation and EEO/ADA/Disability Management/Return to
Work. The Human Resources Analyst I/II is a management
classified position and reports directly to the Deputy Director
of Employment and Compensation.
The established eligibility list may be used to fill future Human Resources Analyst I/II vacancies in the following areas: Employment and Classification, Labor and Employee Relations, Americans with Disabilities Act/Disability Management/Return to Work and Equal Employment Opportunity
The ideal candidate for these positions will possess a bachelor’s
degree or higher level of education and will have had progressive
responsibility within a Public Sector Human Resources
environment. These positions may be filled at the Human Resources
Analyst I or II level, depending on the expertise of the chosen
Human Resources Analyst I
Two years of technical experience in human resources work in a public agency or one year of experience as a Human Resources Assistant for Napa County.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources administration, business administration, public administration or a related field.
Human Resources Analyst II
Three years of professional Human Resources experience comparable to that of a Human Resources Analyst I with Napa County.
Same education requirements as Napa County Human Resources Analyst I.
