$5,552 – $6,691/Month (6% assignment differential paid for Professional License)

Description:

Marin County has one full-time fixed-term vacancy, pending Board approval, with the Mobile Crisis team and one full-time, fixed-term vacancy with the Triage team. These fixed-term positions are funded for a specific period of time and continuation is dependent upon on-going funding.

The Mobile Crisis team opening will be field/community based and responsive to individuals presenting in crisis all across Marin County. This position will be shift based from 1pm – 9pm and may include weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience in crisis intervention, preferably on a Psychiatric Emergency Services Unit or mobile crisis team.

The Triage team position will be community based at the Marin Housing Authority and will function with significant independence. This position schedule will be from 11am – 7pm to provide coverage when many formal services are closed. The ideal candidate for the Triage team position will have experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of the 5150 process and regulations. 

Qualifications:

Any combo of education/experience that would provide the knowledge and skills listed in the class specification. Typically, equivalent to EITHER possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in social work, psychiatric nursing, psychology, counseling or a closely related field, OR possession of a Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a closely related field, OR completion of three years of graduate education including completion of the doctoral-qualifying comprehensive examinations and a university-approved clinical internship equal to two full-time academic quarters (900 hours).

MHP: Eligible/sit for professional lic. as a CSW, MFT, Clinical Psych or RN within timelines consistent with the CA Welfare & Institutions Code. Failure to obtain lic. within the specified timelines will result in termination.

LMHP: Professionally lic. as a CSW, MFT, Clinical Psychologist or RN in CA. Qualified non-CA residents must obtain a CA lic. within timelines consistent with the CA Welfare & Institutions Code. Failure to obtain lic. within the specified timelines will result in termination.
