$24.09 – $40.36 hourly, depending on qualifications 

Description:

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) seeks Program Analyst/Manager to perform professional-level, property management and technical duties in support of transportation planning. VCTC owns various properties including the Santa Paula Branch Line (SPBL), a 32 mile rail corridor. Duties include development and maintenance of a GIS-based management tool, coordination of right-of-entries, lease management, weed abatement, debris removal, inspection programs, and interfacing with adjacent property owners and governmental entities.

In addition incumbent shall assist in a variety of transportation planning efforts including active transportation, airport land use, congestion management, mapping, or other related work. 

Qualifications:

Will be filled at either Program Analyst or Program Manager Level depending on experience. Program Analyst: Three years of progressively more responsible professional level property management and transportation planning, or analysis (experience in GIS highly desirable) AND a BA in business/public administration, political science, public policy, environmental studies, transportation planning, or related. Program Manager: Same as above but 5 years experience.
