Qualifications:

The Senior Staff Analyst performs the most complex analytical professional level staff work in support of departmental operations, programs, and/or services.   Duties include budget and fiscal analysis; monitoring expenses; assessing and recommending solutions to complex problems to increase efficiency, improve revenue and/or reduce expenses; and more!

The current vacancy exists in the Solano County Library.  

The eligible list created as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill part-time and full-time regular, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur throughout the County.  

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Staff Analyst or its equivalent in a public or private agency, to include experience involving office administration, accounting, personal computer operations, and specific experience involving area of assignment (such as financial/budget analysis, budget administration, auditing, cost accounting, contract management, human resources administration, safety/risk management, program coordination, and/or supervision).

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
