Salary:

$62,086 – $75,666 Annual Salary

Description:

Supervise and perform duties of safety and illness prevention including conducting quarterly safety meetings with County departments;  conduct on-site investigations of accidents to determine cause and develop a means of preventing recurrence; may work with department representative on Workplace Violence Committee; perform research, conducts studies to determine needs, prepares reports and recommends implementation procedures for a variety of special needs and projects.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:  Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in risk management, public or business administration, human resources, occupational safety, insurance or a closely related field AND four years of increasingly responsible experience as a professional analyst with emphasis in the administration of risk management programs with an emphasis on insurance, disability management or safety.
