CSAC Annual Meeting to “Start with Why”
Renowned Speaker Simon Sinek to Kick Off Conference
CSAC will kick off its 118th Annual Meeting in fine fashion with renowned leadership expert and author Simon Sinek. Described as “a visionary thinker with a rare intellect,” Simon teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. With a bold goal to help build a world in which the vast majority of people go home every day feeling fulfilled by their work, Simon is leading a movement to inspire people to do the things that inspire them.
He will keynote the Annual Meeting Kick-Off Session that starts at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Los Angeles County.
He will follow up his presentation with a workshop titled “Start with Why,” set to run from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The author of Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action, Simon has held a life-long curiosity for why people and organizations do the things they do. Fascinated by the leaders and companies that make the greatest impact in the world, Simon has discovered some remarkable patterns of how they think, act, and communicate.
He has devoted his life to sharing his observations in order to help leaders and organizations inspire action. He is best known for discovering his theory of the “Golden Circle,” a naturally occurring pattern grounded in the biology of human decision making, which explains why we are inspired by some people, leaders, messages, and organizations over others.
Simon is an adjunct staff member of the RAND Corporation, one of the most highly regarded think tanks in the world.
